MICHIBIKI
Our Story
T O R I I
Guided by Stone,
Rooted in Tradition
MICHIBIKI — meaning “to guide” — was born from a deep reverence for Japan’s ancient spiritual traditions. We believe that stones are not merely beautiful objects, but living conduits of earth’s energy, each carrying a unique vibrational frequency that has been recognized for millennia.
The magatama, Japan’s most sacred jewel form, has been worn by shamans, emperors, and seekers for over 2,000 years. We honor this lineage in every piece we create — blending deep heritage with contemporary craftsmanship to create jewelry that guides, protects, and inspires.
What We Stand For
Authenticity
We use only genuine natural stones, ethically sourced from trusted mines around the world. No synthetics, no imitations — ever.
Craftsmanship
Every piece is handmade in Japan by skilled artisans who have dedicated their lives to the art of stone jewelry. Patience over production.
Intention
Every piece carries a specific intention — from protection to prosperity. We believe in the power of purposeful adornment to guide your path.
From Earth to Your Hands
Each MICHIBIKI piece follows a sacred four-step process, ensuring that every stone arrives with full energetic integrity and artistic excellence.
Stone Selection
We personally source stones from trusted mines across Japan, Brazil, Madagascar, and Myanmar — selecting only those with exceptional clarity and energy.
Purification
Every stone undergoes a traditional Japanese cleansing ceremony — blessed with sacred water from shrine wells and purified under moonlight for three days.
Handcrafting
Skilled artisans in our Kyoto atelier shape, drill, and set each stone by hand. Gold-filled or sterling silver wire is wrapped with meditative precision.
Blessing
Before shipping, each piece receives a final spiritual blessing — a heartfelt prayer spoken over every jewel, setting the intention for its new guardian.
